of Our Rights
• We have the right to receive basic
health services as written in the Constitution.
• We have the right to receive basic
health services without discrimination on
the grounds of ability to pay, race, nationality,
religion, social status, political inclination,
sex, age, or nature of their illness.
• Unless our condition is life threatening
we have the right to obtain sufficient and
clear information from our health care providers
in order to allow us to make an informal
decision about the kind of health care we
will receive.
• We require life saving medical
treatment and have the right to receive
such treatment whether it is requested or
not.
• We have the right to know the name,
surname and qualifications of the health
service providers treating us.
• We have the right to obtain a second
opinion about our medical condition and
the right to change our health care providers
and/or health care facilities.
• We have the right of confidentiality
from our professional health service providers
unless consent is given or such information
is required for legal purpose.
• We have the right to receive complete
information so we may consider to participate
in or to withdraw ourselves from any research
projects conducted by the professional's
health service providers.
• We have the right to receive our
treatment information as recorded in the
medical records upon request as long as
such information does not invade other people's
personal rights.
• Parents or the legal guardians
of us who are younger than 18 years of age
or physically or mentally deficient who
cannot exercise their won rights, may also
request the rights of their behalf.
